Garment Making Demonstration

October 20, 2012 @ 2:00 am – 4:00 am
Hack Pittsburgh

What really goes into making a fashion or costume garment.

A great interactive demonstration to illustrate how to make a costume from pattern to finished work.

Lisa Marie Bruno costume designer will conduct the class and workshop for anyone who would like to attend.  Lisa has been costuming professionally since the days before computes were being used to cut patterns.   Her skill and time in the stage and screen industry is matched only by her honed shrewdness in show business.

Now, after nearly a year in the wings, Lisa’s class primer on developing a pattern and bringing it to fruition is going to be a reality.

Whether you are a costumer cosplay, loli, punk of any kind or just dabbling with a needle and thread, this will be a remarkable introduction to working on your concept from soup to nuts.

The demonstration is free to all who want to attend – but you must register.
