9:30 am                      Session I – Carnegie Screenwriters presents “Script To Screen”.   Learn from the experience of the Carnegie Screenwriters as they talk about how to take your finished script to the next level.  Their members have sold scripts, optioned them and worked with agents and managers.

11:30                         Lunch for all day participants.

12:00 pm                   Registration Session II – The Basics

12:30 pm                   Session II – Steve Cuden    As a screenwriter, Steve is credited on eighty-plus teleplays for series including: “X-Men,” “The Batman,” “Bonkers, “Extreme Ghostbusters,” “Gargoyles,” “Biker Mice From Mars,” “Starship Troopers,” “The Mask,” “Godzilla,” “Beetlejuice,” “The Pink Panther,” “Wing Commander,”  “RoboCop,” and many others.

Steve will discuss the basics of your script – after you have written it.  Editing your script after you have completed it to be certain you have hit all the points is the best way to write that winning script.

2:30 pm                     Registration Session III – How To Hypnotize Your Audience

3:00 pm                     Session III – Joan Sullivan has a vast array of experience in the world of film, writing comedy and hypnotism – yes you read that correctly.

Place a group of people in a darkened theater, have them focus on a shiny object (the screen), play some suggestive music to pull them in and voila!  They are yours.

Joan will discuss your ‘hook’ while writing the screenplay and how to write comedy.
